A Westport CT Wedding | The Saugatuck Rowing Club
There is nothing quite like a Connecticut Spring wedding, and nothing better then when the day is as gorgeous as it was for these 2!! We got started that day right at the church before the ceremony….
Some details from Dans custom suit from Hive and Colony, Boston
Blake and her Mom (who did all the flowers, BTW…) waiting before the ceremony begins.
You know, when the flower girl is too excited to toss petals, you just have to take over and do it yourself sometimes!
For me, this look between Blake and her Dad is what weddings are all about!
One of Moms beautiful floral creations
Just a few family pix inside the church before heading off to the venue.
The color and soft light in the boathouse itself is just so great – and they really seem excited to let wedding couple roam around too!!!
I’d kinda like to know what exactly Dan said here…
Twirling that J Crew dress (with pockets too, which I love!)
The whole gang down on the dock with the Rowing Club in the distance.
Details. Details. Details!!!
Blake and her brother Kip
Ya gotta have wedding corn hole, am I right??!
This was pretty cool : a table with a logo tile inlay that everyone signed the top of as a kind of a typical guest book!
Such a perfect day to be outside along the river!
2 great and very different faces (I always love trying to get dramatic B&W portraits when I can at weddings!)
I just loved the whole color and theme that ran throughout everything! (with the addition of Lobster sugar cookies to top it off! )
Beer cozies cozied up in a cute basket.
We moved upstairs finally for dancing!
One of my favorite shots of the evening – Blake with her dad.
…and that photo to the right of Mom reacting just kills me!
There was Hawaii-Five O body surfing. Don’t ask…. 🙂

Thanks to everyone who made the day possible, and to Blake and Dan for being so fun to work with!!!
