Kelly+Jonathan @ The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa

Kelly and Jonathan were married this past weekend at The Saybrook Point Inn and Spa. We had an incredible day weather-wise – perfect for their nautically themed wedding ( John is a boating kinda guy…)

theres a story behind the duck—honest…And the custom ETSY hanger strikes again!!

amazing flowers (as always) and a little thank you from Miss Elisabeth at BLUSH floral design

meanwhile across the street – beers in hand – the fellas were getting themselves all gussied up…

I love all the weird framing going on in this bottom image below – with the arms going every which way…

diamonds are a brides best friend—

heading over for the First Look ( I’ve done more of these this year than ever before–it’s really catching on! LOVE that…)

everybody wants to be Reservoir Dog.

I love the graphic elements of this door, which was the backside of a firehouse! I swear, i’m attracted to the weirdest stuff sometimes.

a brass quintet played for the ceremony. I’d never seen that and it sounded great

this ‘lil lobster was holding Sharpies for signing an oar in lieu of a guestbook! How cool is THAT?!

(Geeky Photo Tech Corner)

the light on Johns face here is amazing–its bouncing off some of the windows of the hotel behind me to the left

the first sand ceremony i’ve ever seen where the sand itself were from places that had a strong family connection–really neato.

Sooo, Katie ditched her fun shoes for practical ones (a great idea, especially walking on a dock) The brides maids however suffered through the walk in heels, which is why they’re ready to toss their stupid shoes into the brink.

their doggie was on hand for a few quick photos – but was rather unhappy with the bow jammed around her (his??) neck

Hope you guys have fun on the honeymoon next week—I’ll talk to you when you get back. Thanks again fro everything and making it such a fun and easy-going day ( my favorite kind!!!) If you wanna check out their slideshow – heres where you can see it!
