Sarah and Mike were married this past Friday at The Inn at Longshore in Westport CT. There was a small bit of a scare in advance in that Hurricane Irene was on her way, but we knew for the most part that we were in the clear for Friday…and it turned out to be warm and wonderful.
These ETSY handmade hangers seem to be this seasons Hot Item! Sooooo much better than the stupid plastic ones ( you spend ALL that money on a dress and they give you a flimsy plastic hanger worth 50 cents )
Sarah got ready at the Inn while Jay Fleming hung out with the fellas in Norwalk at The Doubletree…

I just LOVE that so many couples are doing (and understanding) a First Look rather than trying to jam all their photos into a 45 minute chunk during cocktail hour!!!
there was such wonderful, glowy light coming in off the water that day—
this was so cute--it took a little coaxing, but then they would NOT get out of this pose afterwards–they kinda got into it!!!
near the end of cocktails the light sank on the horizon and gave us a beautiful, warm light that I had been hoping for all afternoon!

Sarah’s mom may kill me for including this emotional moment – but I can’t help myself when something that REAL happens so spontaneously!
