Sarah+Mike engagement shoot @ Harkness State Park

I met up with Sarah and Mike on Memorial day weekend at Harkness State Park (Yes indeed–one of my favorite spots in CT to shoot at!) Being a holiday weekend, it was mobbed with people barbecuing, playing frisbee, walking their dogs and just generally getting in the way of my photos--so we headed off to my favorite area ( away from humanity ) 🙂

 

 

 

 

honestly–these 2 were just so at ease and comfortable with the camera–it made my job super easy. Naturally – this will make the wedding day super-easy too!

….but of course, they knew that their friends and a LOT of Adult Beverages (from what I understand) were waiting at home from them, which probably assisted somewhat with their comfort level… as I know it would MINE!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Harkness is so pretty year round, but the blooms were GREAT this particular day!
