Mike + Pat’s San Francisco wedding
Intimate wedding under the Golden Gate aboard the Yacht Lady | Destination wedding photographer
I have been dying to post this wedding, but the month got the better of me! So better late than never, here is this incredible SanFran wedding.
With only 6 people in total, this wedding and day felt more like hanging out with friends than it did the kind of wedding day i’m normally used to. It was laid back and casual – with a few cocktails in the mix! We all got ready at their friends house, which was filled with the kind of vintage goodness I love to surround my myself with.
Some dancing silliness in the kitchen
Like I mentioned: cocktails! This one called ‘The Last Word’ can be deadly (trust me on this as i’ve since made it at home!)
Their REALY old kitty who loved posing for the camera – so cute!

Upstairs, our Grooms got ready together for the big day
This is one of my favorites!
I kinda really love this limo image as well!
Many years ago while in San Francisco I visited The Palace Of Fine Arts, which is a beautiful structure left over from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. I recall thinking how great it wold be to shoot there with people or models or something. So when they asked to stop there on the way to the boat for formals, I was giddy with excitement!
All the boys together
Ahh yes, some end-of-day sun flare through the columns.
And of course, the obligatory serious pose.

Finally were aboard the Yacht Lady (with some wine from our previous days trip to Spring Mountain Vineyard!)
Everyone headed upstairs to take in the view on the Yacht Lady
When we all were aboard, the Captain really hightailed it to the Golden Gate – so the wind was pretty intense. But they really know what they’re doing and slowed the boat down pulling around under the bridge for the best light!
Things got emotional pretty fast.

Aside from the amazing view– we had a really pretty sky to top it off.
Their intimate 6 person dinner was filled with stories and inappropriate from the past 😉
I couldn’t resist getting a portrait of the Captain
While everybody was eating, i took advantage of the time to get some interesting (non-wedding) images under the Oakland Bay Bridge)
Whats kind of cool is the NEW bridge is on the right, and the old one that’s being deconstructed is on the left!
Thanks so much to everyone for making us feel welcome and a part of this really special day – it was a really great mini-trip and beautiful event. Congrats!!
Great photos, thank you very much for sharing.
