Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding – Siobhan+Ted
Connecticut Winery wedding | Stonington vineyard | photography by Robert Norman
We’re back today with another wonderful wedding at Saltwater Farm Vineyard! Siobhan and Ted were married on a B E A U T I F U L Fall late summer day (FINALLY – it’s not 1,000,000 degrees out here in New England!)
I always wanted to use one of the steel casks for a dress shot and had the time this day to test it out
Dress from Alexandra’s Boutique – Fall River MA
Siobhan’s groovy teal suede shows worked great against the dark wood walls of the winery
the ladies were prepping with the Glammies from Sara’s Glam Squad Salon
some Bow-tie hijinks at the Mystic Marriott—
a few of the wedding prep details
‘wait till you see her!’
ok now – THIS was adorable: the gals made signs which we shot on a smartphone and texted to Ted before he arrived at the winery for the First Look!!!
meanwhile, my associate JC was outside shooting the gentlemen who had just arrived
I like the uber rich color of this image
so the adorable-ness continued up in the bridal suite, as Ted had made a surprise gift for Siobhan, which was a shadow box of things from their past that had meaning to them ( Red Sox tickets, Sam Adams–Jenga…) This almost got ME choked up…
Ted awaits the First Look
…while Siobhan sneaks around the back of the building…
and THAT expression right there Ladies and Gentlemen, is why you do a First Look!!
Ted’s brother sneaks a peek from the side
big group hug for Mom!
while amongst the reeds you gotta chew on one, right?!
I LOVE this shot ( thanks JC!!! )
how cool are the rocks for seating ‘cards’ – great idea!!!

things got a little emotional during the reading of their vows…

after the sun had gotten lower in the sky, we headed back out for some dusk shots; one of the prettiest times at Saltwater!
it was so great that they were so open to traipsing around the grass [as we all got eaten alive by mosquitos] oops–did I just kill the romantic mood by revealing that?!…
I was coaxing Siobhan into her ‘model stance’ look!
hands down – my favorite shot of the day – and already in my folder of Best Of The Season!

the always-dangerous Hora dance ( well, dangerous for ME getting so close to get a shot!!)
DJ Doug from Power Posse Productions makes it snow. No…REALLY, i’m not kidding!
thank to everyone for such a marvelous day – and to Ted and Siobhan for being such a cool couple to work with 🙂
Congratulations Siobhan and Ted. You look amazing on your wedding day. We wish you many many years of happiness. The staff at Alexandra’s Boutique
