A Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding | Eiling+Jason
Stonington CT wedding at Saltwater Farm | Robert Norman Photography | winery wedding
WOW–where do I start?! You all know that i’ve been to Saltwater Farm quite a bit this season, in fact started the year off there, and this last wedding there of the season did not disappoint!! Aside from a spectacular, chilly Fall CT as the background, there were beautiful details everywhere I looked! And a fun couple–and well..just read on—
I really loved those sparkly shoes
sorry–I know- MORE shoes! 🙂

meanwhile Dave Noonan who was second shooting for me, was doing something creative with the flowers in a stairwell
I posted these on facebook the other day as a preview, since I normally do not shoot this ‘grainy’ but thought these had a really nice feeling to them

gorgeous flowers by Hana Floral Design in Mystic
photo geek time: Dave brought along his softbox and battery powered strobe, so we got to try out some creative stuff
I can’t make up my mind between the color and B&W of this image
I’m sure there’s footage somewhere of me lying flat on the ground to get this shot!
Dave got this great little sequence of this cute ring bearer hopping all around in his Newsies hat!
the field directly next to the property had a beautiful red color this time of year I had never noticed before
ok now listen – when I saw these vintage plates (and I mean REALLY vintage like Grandma’s, not faux-knock-off-Vintage) I got SOOO excited. I LOVE stuff like this and did not know it was available for rental! Even the silverware was cool!
CHINA from: Something Borrowed Vintage Rentals
they did such a great job with their program and little bitty details…so cool
and such super atmospheric, personal designs from Ryan Designs, RI as well!

the vintage dresser was used to hold all the cake pops which were for seating!
and even more special than all that, was Tara O’Grady – who normally does NOT do weddings – who was on hand for some smooth and swining vintage jazz tunes. THATS my kinda party—
he’s just too cute–sorry there are so many shots of him!!!
…so we had both a Polish bread and salt ceremony (my second this year after never ever seeing ONE!) as well as a Chinese wine ceremony
wine was wax sealed in a box, along with notes to each other to read at a special later date
cue the bubbles—
Dave got out his soft-box again for some late-night shots
I REALLY liked the design of the cake and pie table – a layout I had never seen there before
and then – out came the electric eyeglasses!!!
special thanks to the gals at True Event for planing and keeping the night running along smoothly
DJ Doug fromPower Posse Events
Photobooth Planet for their flip book (!!) photo booth
and Jessie English from Gourmet Galley for the delish’ eats!
DD Nickel for beautiful makeup work
