Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding: Courtney+Kyle
winery wedding in Stonington Connecticut | wedding photography by Robert Norman
Courtney and Kyle were married a couple of weeks ago at the wonderful Saltwater Farm Vineyard – on a bit of a drizzly day that ended up being quite pretty after all! Take a look—
I stole Courtney’s dress and got some shots of it down by the entrance of the winery
Ian Witschy came along to help and this was a neat angle of the dress he captured
one of our flower girls is all set to go!
Courtney doing double duty as a hair stylist. Actually, they i’d most EVERYTHING for the wedding–she even made the bridesmaids dresses. As she told me during a consult, “Pretty much the only thing were NOT doing is cooking and baking the cake) They also made the brides hairpiece, bridesmaid jewelry , all the bouquets, ceremony programs, menus, gift favors, and wine bottle table marker labels!!!!
I really loved (and probably overshot) this cool sign/seating chart structure they built!

last minute First Look prep up in the bridal suite
I LOVE doing a First Look but always feel a bit guilty as I put the Groom through such stress as he waits and is unable to turn around!
I just really love those steel cask as a backdrop!
My connection to this family started many, many years ago as Lesley (second from left) was my boss at a part-time job I had! I have since done her and 2 of her sisters weddings!
custom, individual superhero cufflinks for all the groomsmen!

Reverend Victoria Burdick could not have been any more accommodating. She actually encouraged me to ‘get right in there’ to capture the symbolic ‘stacking of the hands’ She was really cool – highly recommended if you need a celebrant
like magic – the skies began to clear and it got blue and bright out!
Grandpa was acknowledged during the service
a slightly different take on the above shot – not sure which I prefer!
