Lauren + Tims wedding @ Gershon Fox Ballroom
Marquee Events, Hartford CT | CT wedding photographer
Well i’m a little delayed here with this post, but better late than never (besides, if you’re missing the snow this will bring your RIGHT back to this past Winter!)
When I met with Lauren and Tim here at the house, I was SO excited because I literally had said to a friend that previous week : “I really wish I could do a wedding at the G Fox Room in Hartford” In walk Lauren & Tim telling me that it not only will be at that venue, but a WINTER wedding (which I love) to top it off. I always tell my couples that they’d better prepare to get out in the snow should we happen to get any the day of (why have a Winter wedding otherwise?!) Well boy, oh boy did we get snow that day as you will soon see—-
_______
We started things of in Lauren room downtown where she and the gals got ready
Meanwhile, JC came along to help and hung out with the guys beforehand
This was so amazingly sweet- Tim was so struck emotionally by Lauren’s gift that he broke down for a moment
Lauren’s dad has such an expressive face
Tim bought Lauren a Nikon D3100, which I joked I was gong to steal when she wasn’t looking 🙂
The boys enjoy a quick toast before the First Look
We setup our first look away from everyone for a little privacy
I just LOVE the Art Deco look of the remaining escalators in this facility
gorgeous floors by Dragonfly Event
Laurens’ vintage wrap along with the Art Deco moldings made for the perfect combo!

Luckily- they were VERY open to schlepping around in the snowstorm!!!!
And Lauren was prepared with boots and all!
We went to Hartford City Hall, which is such a beautiful space not only for photos, but just to visit!
This is one of my favorites – the staircases there are just amazing
______
We took quick stroll to Pratt Street (as the snow REALLY started coming down) where we got my favorite image of the day!
____
Pretty much frozen, we finally went inside as the ceremony was about to begin…
Lauren and her Dad did a traditional dance, which suddenly turned into full-on disco-fever!
