Lauren + Tim's Pratt Island engagement session

Just last week I met up with Lauren and Tim at the home of her Dads friend. They have a beautiful property right out on the point in Pratt Island in Darien. I knew Lauren was getting her hair done, as it was as windy as-all-get-out, so I told her  “Have them glue down whatever you’re having done!!!” So while it was windy , it actually calmed down and everyone’s hair cooperated.

We grabbed a few quick ‘warm-ip’ images inside the house before we braved the elements outside.

It was just so beautiful and clear out this day!

 

we drove down the road to a different inlet, which was a calm and peaceful as anything you could ask for–we had the entire shore to ourselves as well

this is my ‘peeping tom through the shrubs’ angle…

 

this spot reminded me of the ‘Lone Cypress’ out in Monterey California on the ’17 mile drive.’
