Jessica+David @ St. Clement's Castle

Jessica and David tied the knot this past Saturday at St. Sebastian’s in Middletown CT, with their reception folioing at St. Clement’s Castle…we started off at a hotel in Cromwell CT—with a VERY early start as it was an afternoon affair AND we were doing a First Look (the poor gals started their day with hair and makeup at 5:30 am!!!)

David’s Mom was so adorable – telling me about how brides in Italy are typically 2 hours late as a rule!

Incredibly, I shot this in the hallway of the hotel (which was not all that photogenic) but I thought the light was beautiful in this particular spot

David waited patiently in a light rainy drizzle for the First Look

the flower girl and ring bearer were completely adorable – the little ring bearer (who is only 4!) stood there diligently passing out programs

a brief quiet moment right before the ceremony began

Jess gave her Dad this handkerchief in a little ‘pre-ceremony emotional moment’….it almost got me for a moment as well  🙂

I loved this detail in a vintage suitcase they used for ‘dancing flip-flops’ – the sheet music was also their first dance song
