A Harkness State Park Wedding | Jessica+Justin
This past memorial weekend Sunday, Jessica and Justin got married at Harkness State Park in Waterford, Connecticut. Being it was memorial Day as as beautiful out, I’m not sure I have EVER seen the park so crowded. Luckily, with a late day ceremony, most of the picnickers cleared out and we had a simply wonderful evening.
I love the old rooms there as they seem to remain rather untouched – which made a perfect spot for some of my ‘vintage’ style photo foolishness-
I always seem to shoot the vines there one way or the other!
So while I was outside shooting some family stuff, Miss Robin Dini was inside getting these 3 amazing shots of the bride in the mirror. Such painterly window light, I thought! I usually don’t go quite so heavy on the Photoshop trickery, but being the first shot DID look like a painting to me, I did a little more foolin’ around than usual! (actually gently used the ‘watercolor’ filter!)
some amazing eats from a Thyme To Cook and flowers by Datura- A Modern garden
golden end-of-the-day-backlit-happnines for Robert!
Honestly now – i could NOT get enough of how GREAT the ceiling looked, as I have NEVER seen so many Chinese lanterns used this way – amazingly cool work by Power Possee Productions!
Amazing images! I love them all 🙂
Way to get on the ground for that shot, Sweet!
Um I don’t have any idea where that sea turtle came from??????
First, I gotta say again how much I’m lovin’ your new blog! Second, what a fun wedding. Love the details and all those garden/ivy shots!
