Alison+Erik's Waveny Park engagement – New Canaan, CT

Alison and mr Erik are getting married next July at one of my favorites spots in CT, Jonathan Edwards Winery. We spent part of the afternoon a week or so ago, at Waveny Park in New Canaan CT. We got it lucky with what w probably one of our final Fall afternoons, as a few days later we were bombarded with that weird, off-season damaging snow storm!..

They did a cute Save The Date idea ( with some help from the art teacher at Ali’s school) which I played around with here with an ‘old book’ idea I had

we had just the most spectacular time of day to be there. We were rushing a bit to CATCH all that light, but while it lasted it was incredible. Just the kind of late-day sun i dream about ( I’m a photo-dork..i know it )
