A Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding | Karin+Billy
A Connecticut Winery wedding | CT Winery Photographer
Karin and Billy were married at the always beautiful Saltwater Farm Vineyard this past August (sorry i’m only NOW getting around to this, guys!) It was just a perfect day with the kind pif soft light I always hope for! Dave Noonan was along to help second shooting, and he started out with the guys, who had rented a house right in Mystic.
Meanwhile, I was with the ladies in the bridal suite at Saltwater
…everyone was having a blast and totally laid back, so I knew we were in for a great day!
Yes, that’s right- Billy had a pair of red ‘dancing’ shoes’ to change into for later that evening !
That champagne cork went flying so far we thought we’d taken out a car window!
The lining to Karin’s dress matched the color in her shoes–pretty cool
The ring , now a necklace, belonged to her grandmother, and Karin’s mom oversees her putting it on
Billy sits tight awaiting the First Look
…Did I mention how much i love doing First Looks?!

I REALLY love these 3 shots Dave got of the flower girls.
While the skies WERE blue, I thought i’d go for a little drama on this one

One of my favorites from the day!
You can’t really tell here on a blog post, but this panoramic image is stitched together from about 9 vertical photographs…this would make a super-cool wide canvas print!

Karin and Billy will understand why this photo is included–but the lighter simply would NOT go on, so they kind of faked it
Vonnie Quinn who was one of the musicians, also happens to be on The Bloomberg Advantage!
Dancing shoes in full action
There were TONS of irish music and lots and lots of dancing!
In fact, there was even some dancing during a quick shoot we had as the sun was setting!!!
Whenever I see a great face at a wedding, I do my best to get a candid portrait (A little something I work on quietly in the background at weddings and events) I especially love this one.
Near the end of the evening, Billy got up and played along a little with the band
Some cool late-night lighting from Power Posse productions
Thanks again guys for being so fun and easy going and for letting me be a part of your day! xoxoxo
