Lion Rock Farm in Sharon is what people picture when they dream about a Connecticut farm wedding — and then some. Tucked into the Litchfield County hills near the New York border, it's a working farm that happens to be one of the most elegant wedding venues in New England: stone walls, rolling pastures, a barn that photographs beautifully, and views that go on for miles.

Christina and Jess leaned into all of it with a modern tented reception that balanced luxury and laid-back perfectly — elevated details under the tent, cocktail hour on the lawn, and a golden hour that turned the whole hillside amber. We walked out into the pasture for fifteen minutes of portraits at sunset, and those frames are some of my favorites of the season.
