Years later I graduated from NY’s Purchase College with a degree in Photography and Graphic Design (photography was a requirement that I was NOT interested in!) Later I moved to L.A. working on Melrose Ave (long before that dopey TV show made it 'cool') and spent two fun but exhausting years assisting a top commercial photographer.
Tired of the perfect weather and a nice tan, I moved back East and started shooting for a number of modeling agencies in NYC. So the transition into wedding photography was gradual and REALLY unexpected, as friends starting asking for my eye at their events. I soon found that weddings offered an amazing outlet for creativity and personal expression I had never anticipated.
I shoot about 20 weddings a year, which have taken me all over New England, up & down the East Coast as well as to Italy, Ireland, London and Hawaii (for real!)
The most important thing for me is that I want you to have a GREAT time and sorta forget i'm even there.
With a jillion years experience in the wedding industry, I pride myself on professionalism, classic style and a sense of humor (which you probably figured out by now that you’ve seen this website) I've photographed events all over New England as well as Italy, Ireland, London, the Caribbean, Walt Disney World and Maui.
I want you to remember the way you felt on one of the most important days of your lives, and so i'll give you an amazing & fun experience from the time we first connect until your album is delivered.
Having lost my folks at a young age, I know how meaningful having their wedding album is to me, and I treasure that classic style of wedding photography. I want your photos to have that very same timelessness today, as well as 50 years from now. I understand the importance of that special moment dancing with a parent, a crazy late-night Best-Friend-Cha-Cha or quiet moment spent with a beaming grandparent.
These are moments you simply cannot replace.
Many of my couples choose to schedule an engagement session which is a fantastic way for you both to remember why you're so special to each other, and to allow yourselves to experience that personal time together before the wedding. Just the 2 of you.
...including Paul Newman, Brenden Fraser, Glenn Close, Harry Connick Jr., Al Gore and President Obama…you think a WEDDING is nerve-wracking?….
I've also had the good fortune of photographing some pretty interesting non-wedding folks as well...
