The Garrison NY Wedding

Kim and Lorenzo were married at The Garrison in the Hudson River Valley on a simply gorgeous day. The wedding was actually postponed since Kims sister was having a baby and they wanted everyone important to be there, so rather than November we did this in May. (quite honestly having a longer day and more light in May made it easier than it might have in November since they had the option to move the date) Also, Lorenzo has a DJ company in NJ, so he (like myself) is sort of bound to our busy seasons.

I’d had the chance twice in the past to shoot here for  a fellow photographer, but never my own wedding, so this was a real treat! Take a peek…

For starters, I have to admit that MY second shooter Steve took this image, but I had to share since it’s just so lovely!

I loved Lorenzos fancy feather bow tie from Brackish Bow Ties . The Groom deserves a little bling on the wedding day too, right?

I was happy (and surprised) to see an image from their engagement session in Brooklyn all printed nicely and framed!

I also really liked how the ‘Love’ image also from their engagement session worked on the cover of their guest book.
