I feel like i’ve known Shawna and Joe forever! They booked me in January of 2013, did an engagement session that Fall at Jonathan Edwards Winery, then got married in October of 2013 at Saltwater Farm. So by the time the wedding rolled around we really had a history, which of course made the day feel like I was photographing old friends! With a full ‘Dream Team’ of vendors – the day could have hardly been more perfect–take a peek….
Shawna and the gals got prepped right there in the lovely bridal room at Saltwater, and Joe and the men showed up for last minute touches.
I really though their invites were quite fun ( and that photo looks vaguely familiar! )
Check out that bouquet from Hana Floral! I always know I can count on her for something special.
Shawn’s dress was just so LIGHT and airy looking – I kept using the word’ fluffy’ to myself!

It’s always so fun at Saltwater with the way the light shifts and different environments become new backdrops with the seasonal changes.
I told her brothers to give her a big smooch on the cheek.

I was about 40 miles away to take this shot–I think they thought I was nuts!
The Winery looks great in B&W as well–regardless of the season. (See the dress…Fluffy, right?!)
