CT wedding photographer  | Simsbury engagement session

 

There were 2 dogs and a bonfire.

 

This past Saturday I got to spend a portion of the afternoon with Peter and Kelly, near her parents home in Simsbury, Connecticut. We started by roaming around a farm nearby. Now turns out  I had been once before for family photos, but WHEN still escapes me! After that we took a drive down the road a bit to a beautiful lake (or was it reservoir?… i’m still not sure.) We finished up back at the house where – as you might have already heard – we had a bonfire ( VERY welcome as the sun went down! ) Along for the ride were my 2 new favorite doggies, Boomer and Bella – take a look...

Not for nothing, but the light this day was just perfect!

I always try and get a few single portraits during these sessions. I love it when I show up on a wedding day and see them framed !

I mean, the leaves are all pretty much gone here, but this little patch made it look like Autumn was still in full gear!

This was just the perfect spot for a little snuggling.
