A Brooklawn Country Club wedding | Katie+Marty

CT Country Club Wedding Photographer | Classic Wedding style

Katie and Marty were married this past Saturday at the beautiful Trinity church in Southport, CT, with a reception that followed at The Brooklawn Country Club.

I arrived as Emily Rosnick worked her makeup magic…Nerves were running a tad high at the house so I suggested we pop open some champagne.

Leave it to me to suggest having a cocktail…

come ON NOW!!!  a spectacular dress from The Plumed Serpent in Westport, CT

at the church, I found Marty waiting patiently  in the back room. It was kinda sad and cute at the same time–all alone in the back of the church!

Katie & her dad arrived in a super-cool vintage Rolls Royce

check out that glowy back-light! I couldn’t have asked for better positioning!

the threat of heavy rain and thunder loomed overhead all day but never materialized – instead what we got was beautiful, soft light.

I took this and looked at the camera back and thought “This looks like something out of Southern Bride magazine!!”

the details, colors and decor was amazing!!! With more votive candles than the Vatican – it looked amazing

the future competition was out in full-force.   🙂

Yes, I know what you’re thinking.

NO that is NOT Photoshopped.

YES – we actually had a rainbow that then turned into a DOUBLE rainbow… This after all the nasty weather threats!!!

I loved the shots Miss Robin Dini was getting this day, rocking the Nikon D3 – but I especially liked these shot through the decorative hanging crystals! Kinda abstract-dreamy, if you ask me.

You, my friend, are a genius! I think my favorite is of the little guy raising his hand during the cermeony…looks like he is calling down fire from heaven or something.
