Yankee Stadium engagement Session | Alex+Adam

On Monday I caught up with Alex and Adam at Yankee Stadium – a place that believe it or not, I have never, ever been to. Having grown up in Queens when I was a kid, I got as far as Shea Stadium. I guess The Bronx was too far and exotic for my parents to take me.

In any case the weather that day was—well…let’s be honest: crappy. Drizzly and nasty. BUT…we did indeed make the most of it, and having gotten there so early, the park was rather empty, allowing us to shoot without mobs of people!

Get this: these 2 crazy kids actually MET at a game there a number of years back (6 or 7 I believe), making this shoot there all the more meaningful

so it seemed, to me at least, a good time for a beer…

I actually think these random shots hanging out by the food are some of my favorites– especially the agitated looking woman to the left!

So FINALLY the rain stopped enough for us to head outside. The game had now even begun and the plastic tarp was still on the field. Once you leave you can’t get back in…but we figured shots outside was worth missing any part of a drizzly game anyway…

thanks for the beer and a super-fun time and a chance to FINALLY see the stadium!   I’ll see you in a few short weeks out on The Island at Martha Clara Vineyard.
