Kristen+Jeff's E-Session

Kristen and Jeff are getting married this December at the Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield. We met up there other day at Seaside Park in bridgeport, where they took me to come cool spots I never even knew existed before! Interestingly, I found out that it was designed by Frederick Olmsted, who was the mastermind behind Central park in NYC!    Who knew??!!

(by the way, that pier behind them existed pre-Hurricane Irene)

our goal was to eventually get out to that light house: a walk that is a lot farther (on those uneven rocks), than it looks!

the green of the sea grass was incredibly vivid!

I don’t want to call them ‘dead’ trees–but there was something about them that I found really cool to shoot.

a few ticks won’t kill anybody—get in that grass!!

everything out there reminded me of an old movie set of something–the sky got moody as if on cue- and it was perfect!!

my fave from the day – someone on facebook said it reminded them of a ‘nancy drew book cover‘ !!!

(PHOTO GEEK CORNER: this is 4-5 shots or different exposures all muddled together)

thanks for taking me someplace new on a beautiful day–i’ll see you sooner than you think, in December!

Beautiful pics!! You shot my cousin Kari’s wedding in September 2007 and your work is still amazing.

I’m very happy for the couple, as I know the groom! Can’t wait to see the pics from the big day.
