Last weekend on Sept, 3rd, Caitlin and Pat were married in Hartford at the beautiful Society Room. What was cool is that I photographed her sisters wedding several years back and will be photographing her OTHER sisters wedding next year at the Bushnell–so you know, it’s kinda like hanging out with people you know! Take a look..
The Residence Inn in downtown Hartford had these HUGE Windows on the top floor rooms! PERFECT for that ‘dress shot’ you’re always looking for a cool spot to shoot but often cannot find
something about her moms expression here just get to me… it’s just so SWEET
since her wedding like I mentioned, her sister Meghan has had a new little addition to the family!
…meanwhile in the lobby, I met up with the fellas and prepared for our First Look…
lets just say, that getting a clear shot without too many people in downtown Hartford right next to the bus stop was not so easy…
we did a whole lotta strolling around the city
hands down my favorite!! (of course, now I cant use that sign again in a photo I suppose…)
I’d never done a ceremony IN the Society Room before, so it was cool to se how it was all set up, and certainly makes for a Grand Entrance for the bride!!
honestly: just LOOK at how he is looking at her—you can’t fake that.
The band ( whose name I should know but sadly do not, feel free to add that info in a comment below if you know their name! ) were GREAT and there was a REALLY energetic dancing crowd to boot!
UPDATE: its the The Clark Eno Orchestra!!
many thanks to Caitlin, Pat and their families for making it such a cool, easy going day (my favorite kind–where I can actually do creative stuff!) I will be seeing you before you know it next year once again in Hartford! Until then, enjoy!
